Bridge Essay Assignment!

Write a three page essay (double spaced size 12 font or smaller) about the history of bridges.  Please make sure you include the different types of bridges, how they are used, and name a local bridge in your city or state that makes the transportation for your community easy.  Also consider the following questions: 

1. How has the construction of bridges changed over the years? 
2. What are the most common materials used to construct bridges?  
3. Why is it so important for soldiers to conquer or take a bridge from their opponents?

 You can also include some of the answers to your questionnaire in your essay.  This section is worth 50 points.

THIS SECTION IS DUE FRIDAY, APRIL 24th and MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOU CAN BEGIN BUILDING YOUR BRIDGE!
